Executive Producer for University of Minnesota Annual Meeting

Project Description
The UMAA Annual Meeting is a dinner for U of M Alumni and invited guests followed by a short meeting and a featured speaker. The dinner is attended by 2,000 guests and the meeting/ program is attended by an additional 3,000 guests, for a total audience of 5,000. In 2006, the event was held at Northrop Auditorium and in 2007 at Mariucci Arena

• Managed and contracted AV elements and set design

• Created and managed the show flow and rehearsal schedule

• Responsible for supervising and rehearsing all speakers and talent, including Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Conner and Super Bowl Coach Tony Dungy.

Outstanding Accomplishments

• Flawless execution of both annual meetings, including starting and ending on time

• First large scale production in Mariucci Arena that involved rigging from the high irons and a dinner for 2,000 guests

• Re-choreographed and re-designed theatrical cues for the entrance and exit of the U of M Marching Band on site to accommodate the staging requests of guest artist and conductor, Stan Freese
